Errorless learning

2001-2005                      Increasing and decreasing (vanishing) cues

The study at RWTH Aachen University for the first time compared the well-known method of increasing cues to the method of vanishing cues (adaptive increasing-decreasing cueing) which was novel in aphasia rehabilitation (and SLT) and was based on the theoretical underpinnings by Abel (2001, Magisterarbeit). Vanishing cues feature errorless learning. The study was supported by the Helmut-Bauer Prize for Rehabilitation (German Society of Neurology).
